The End of Ed Tech Debates

I’m notorious for going over time limits on assignments, so I am quite proud of myself for not going over this summary! Although I do have to admit, the first recording was over the 9 minute mark. Whew, I’m a little emotional as this is the final assignment for my M.Ed. It has been a great opportunity to connect with upcoming leaders in education through this program, and I look forward to hopefully meeting some of you in person someday!

I’m late to producing a podcast, but it felt right to try something new for my final (for now) assignment. It’s never too late!

I wish all my classmates the best of luck in continuing their education and to those that are done this semester, we made it! I can’t wait to see the difference you all make.

Happy Teaching,

Leah

  1. Leah,
Good job on your first podcast. I created podcasts with my students this year and it was a fun and engaging activity. You made very good points from the debates. I agree that there need to be commonalities between everyone when it comes to technology. I wish there was a magic wand to make this happen but think it takes teachers to begin setting the tone of this in schools. Teacher education on using technology is something that needs to happen. My hope is that it becomes mandatory for undergraduates studies. I agree that students need to have access to technology in school but funding and government are the culprits that withholds this being a reality.
Congrats on finishing your masters. I am also complete and now wonder what I will do with all this free time : )

  2. I really enjoyed this SoL! Very well put together. Congrats on submitting your FINAL final! Exciting! Well done. It was a pleasure working alongside you for the last two years… time sure flies! Until next time, cheers!
